Christmas/New Year ...This is incredible i love it.<br /><br />Christmas/New Year 01/02 I was a 19 year old Engine Trainee it was my second trip out in the really big world.<br />I was on the journey if a life time, i had seen thing others could only imagine.<br /><br />I lived at Arnøyham in Norway, approx 70 degree north i grow up in a community of around 350 people.<br />The sommer of 2000 i had worked on a passanger vessel going to Svalbard and the cruises started in Tromsø and we turned around and headed back to Tromsø at 80 degrees north.<br /><br />Now i was as far as i could go from home and i was stuck, in Antarctica sitting on board M/V Polar Bird.<br /><br />Believe me i was happy to see the M/V Aurora Australis.
